Modular Robotics is a 45-person company that seeks to make the world a better place with thousands and thousands of tiny robots. Founded in 2009 as a spinoff from Carnegie Mellon University, we design robot construction systems for kids and adults. Our factory in Boulder, CO, USA makes innovative use of robot assembly and worker gamification systems to improve the viability of local manufacturing.
We've grown from 2 to 45 people in a few short years. We're manufacturing and selling two very cool product lines, which can be seen at www.modrobotics.com. As a result, we are ordering and receiving a large number of custom plastic and mechanical components, and our factory is a bit overwhelmed with the task of checking all our parts to make sure they are made to our specification before we integrate them into final assemblies.
We're looking for two QC technicians - people who can read and understand a technical drawing and are comfortable using calipers to measure dimensions. You will have performed QC in the past, so you know the drill. We'll set a quantity of parts from each shipment to sample. Each part has a QC profile containingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
