The Unit Manager reports to the Production Managers and is responsible for the management of all onsite remote production logistics including crew, administration and technical aspects of each assigned Pac-12 Networks production. The position is a freelance remote-based position located in close driving proximity of one or more of the Pac-12 Conference University campuses.
Responsibilities:
Unit Manager is the acting Pac-12 manager on site under the direction of the Production Manager
Responsible for supervising the crew and overseeing the production schedule ensuring that each and every crew member knows their assignment, performs their hired task, submits the appropriate paperwork, and signs the official timesheet
Act as the Pac-12 Networks on site liaison between the University operations personnel and the production staff
Works with staff manager and coordinator to prepare and distribute the Tech Operations (Show Book) book for each assigned remote
Supervise all freelancers and vendors hired by the Pac-12 Networks
Responsible for ensuring that all construction, technical set up, power, transmission, access for crew to cable and set up for the event are met
Work closely with the assigned Producer and Director to coordinate and implement the production plan for each remote
Submit final crew time sheets, show reports and financial reports on any expenses or overages occurred at the remote to the staff Production Manager
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong people management, analytical, organizational, verbal and written communications skills
Minimum 2 years of prior work experience in remote television production operations (preferably sports)
Experience managing remote productions, personnel, technical crew, TV production scheduling and budgeting
Technical working knowledge & experience in remote sports television productions
Bachelor's Degree in communications, television production or equivalent work experience
Passionate about Pac-12 Sports
Demonstrates ability to prioritize under time constraints and work successfully in a fast-paced environment
Experience working in a culturally diverse organization and supporting the values held by our unique employees, clients, sponsors, university faculty, and fans
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, IE, etc.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
