Senior International Accountant

LogRhythm is seeking a Senior International Accountant who will work with our third party accountants in each of our foreign subsidiaries. Reporting to the Assistant Controller and located at our Boulder, CO office, this is a newly created position responsible for the Company's international accounting transactions, reporting and processes.
Prepare/review and post international transactions and month end journal entries.
Reconcile/review balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
Maintain detail for fixed asset sub-ledger, including monthly depreciation and review of new assets for compliance with capitalization policy.
Maintain monthly schedules to support balance sheet accounts including cash, prepaid assets, deposits, accrued liabilities, etc.
Prepare inter-company cost-plus revenue calculation and record parent and subsidiary entries.
Ensure month-end close of books in accordance with parent close schedule.
Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance to internal policies.
Reconcile year-end GAAP financials to tax returns.
Analyze international financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances.
Oversee and transact international funding and vendor payments.
Oversee international payroll and expense reimbursements to foreign employees.
Research and respond to tax authority requests and statements.
Assist with annual consolidated financial statement audit, including preparation of international schedules and work-papers.
Document and monitor internal controls and accounting procedures and proactively recommend improvements or changes.
Work with third party local service provider accountants, where relevant.
Communicate with multiple levels of the organization of operating results in their respective areas.
Other projects as assigned.
Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting required.
3
years of relevant work experience in accounting.
Internal control and/or SOX compliance experience.
Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
Demonstrated ability to streamline processes and implement best practices.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives.
Flexible and able to change gears quickly.
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.
Highly detail oriented, organized and analytical.
Ability to travel occasionally.
Experience with NetSuite a plus.
Experience with VAT rules and reporting a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
