Collections Specialist needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Boulder, CO.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Perform AR collections and follow-up on past due invoices including: making daily collection calls to customers regarding the status of payment of outstanding invoices; researching and resolving identified issues; providing backup to customers; developing payment plans for delinquent accounts, obtaining authorization, and monitoring results.
- Provide regular reports including status updates on AR position, problem customers and other collection related issues.
- Initiate reference inquiries, run D&B reports and work with Controller to establish credit for new customers
- Initiate new customer hard copy master files and establish customer in ERP system
- Review and resolve daily credit holds
- Initiate customer adjustment forms
- Initiate return authorization forms
- Other projects as assigned
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- High school diploma required; Associates degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Experience with an integrated collections/ERP system required
- Demonstrated experience in a collections role required
- Excellent written and verbal grammar skills
- Customer focused professional
- Detail oriented and organized
- Communicative, cooperative and team-oriented
