Job Summary
This will be a temporary research position for the summer. It will be to assist further research in the Link and Rowe Labs. More information about the labs and what they research can be found listed below:

Who We Are
At the Department of Integrative Physiology we study organisms as functioning systems of molecules, cells, tissues, and organs. This emphasis on whole-body function, and its applications to human health and disease, has made Integrative Physiology the largest undergraduate major at CU-Boulder. Our PhD program was recently ranked 9th out of 63 physiology programs in the country. Our diverse faculty include several who have joint affiliations with the Institute for Behavioral Genetics and the Center for Neuroscience, as well as clinical divisions at the CU-Anschutz medical campus.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Biochemical development of an ELISA assay.
Assistance with human stem cell maintenance and experiments.
Mouse husbandry and behavioral analyses.
Other duties as assigned.
What You Should Know
This position is not expected to continue past August 15th, 2024.
Temporary Researchers perform research in a temporary capacity. This job code defaults as FLSA non-exempt due to being paid on an hourly basis and not meeting the teacher exemption.
What We Can Offer
$20 hourly, around 20 hours a week.
Benefits
Temporary positions at the University of Colorado are not benefits-eligible, however, all positions are eligible for paid sick leave.

What We Require
BA or BS in a biological field.
What You Will Need
Experience with mice and molecular biology.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
