The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) reports to the CEO and is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team. The Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) is a strategic partner to the CEO and responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation. The CHRO provides strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the executive management team and the board of directors via direct engagement and interaction with the Compensation Committee and Nominating and Governance committees. We are seeking a seasoned executive with strong business and financial acumen and a successful track record in executing on HR strategy to support business growth. The successful candidate has a mastery of compensation philosophy, ability to engage at all levels from management to the Board of Directors, understands and appreciates public company board governance, shapes, and influences corporate culture and is committed to diversity and inclusion. Responsibilities:
This position is directly responsible for leading a team of human resource professionals supporting the Company's current employee base of approximately 200 employees.
Responsibilities:
o Develop people systems to support the strategy and the business, including talent acquisition and development, Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DE&I), training, performance, and rewards. Ensure that all systems and processes are compliant and fair; o Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs to accomplish strategic goals; o Provide expert guidance to senior leaders to align organizational design to meet strategic goals and build team capabilities; o DE&I - Executive sponsor for the Company's strategic efforts to maintain and improve DE&I programs; o Work with the company's executive management team to establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the company serving the needs of the Nominating and Governance Committee of the Board of Directors; o Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective working in conjunction with the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors; and o Working in conjunction with the CEO and CFO to develop and refine the Company's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy and initiatives. Experience:
o A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or MA/MS in human resources or related field preferred. o A minimum of 15 years of HR experience, with at least five years of executive HR experience. o SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred. This position is eligible for both annual equity awards and our short-term incentive program.
Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
Minimum Qualification
HR ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
