Job Summary We seek an experienced executive recruitment technical sourcer as part of the Talent Acquisition (TA) function transformation. The successful candidate will be a diversity oriented talent acquisition consultant and expert, innovator, a champion for change with a relentless pursuit of innovation, a refined master relationship builder, and a networker with gravitas. You will draw upon your expertise to influence and educate leaders to think different about the talent landscape to create inclusive, inspired, and highly effective teams that reflect our communities while driving toward our mission and values. You will be instrumental in creating the executive recruiting strategy and approach to attract diverse elite talent at the VP to C-suite level across technical and other business functions, as needed, with the Executive Recruitment Recruiter, TA Global Leaders, and key stakeholders. You will partner closely with executive business leaders, HR partners, and TA team members to proactively identify, contact, and assess executive talent within the market while creating an inclusive and differentiated executive talent acquisition experience. You will develop relationships with multiple hiring executives and be the subject-matter expert for specialized executive talent acquisition needs, including special projects.
Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, implement, and execute on a broad recruitment strategy focused on quality without sacrificing speed, design the standards and future course for the unique value of an executive recruiter as a key partner and business enabler, and own the process from the initial research and planning phase, to job specification development, talent mapping and pipeline development, sourcing strategies, and campaigns Act as a talent adviser to hiring managers and leaders across NetApp to advocate for best practices, provides clear communication on status and progress of open searches, handle a high degree of confidentiality, consult and influence proactive and opportunistic talent networking, succession planning, organizational structures through market insights, and hiring decisions Act as an ambassador for executive talent acquisition and build strong relationships with key partners (Business Leaders, DIB (Diversity Inclusion and Belonging), HR Business Partners, Chief of Staffs, Executive Assistants, HR Operations, Legal, and the Compensation team) and across all levels of the organization as a trusted partner who delivers programs for a consistent, scalable, and extraordinary recruiting experience throughout the candidate journey Develop a good understanding of NetApp's organizational structure as well as extensive knowledge of HR policy and procedure and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations and effective risk management of OFCCP guidelines and EEOC regulations to effectively represent and market NetApp's employment brand, the organization's business objectives, and career options to potential candidates Job Requirements Data-driven in your approach with analytical rigor to report progress to necessary stakeholders, utilize industry research and trend data and insights to create a talent strategy, and identify root causes and problem-solve hurdles and issues to get to a successful result Must be entrepreneurial, resourceful, creative, and a collaborative teammate that thrives in fast-paced environments, embrace ambiguity and adapt quickly to change, works with a high sense of urgency coupled with the ability to remain flexible within a highly dynamic and complex environment Out of the box thinker well-versed in all aspects of the recruitment process that applies broad expertise or unique technical/industry knowledge to challenge the status quo to problem solve unique and highly complex issues (due to time, budget, and resource constraints) to innovate and create new initiatives, strategic talent programs, and talent acquisition-related strategies:
design and execute creative and robust multi-channel search sourcing strategies and campaigns to attract diverse world-class candidates, talent mapping, networking, diversity initiatives, process improvement Ability to learn new domains quickly in order to craft effective search strategies within those domains to build, develop, and maintain a network of diverse industry contacts and talent networks to tap into industry sources to develop candidate pipelines and market-related compensation benchmarks Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as a coach and mentor, team leader, and member with a willingness to take ownership of a wide range of responsibilities; lead Talent Acquisition projects based on business needs with an ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities in parallel Relationship-oriented; partners and collaborates with stakeholders across the organization; negotiates and influences the opinions of others at the senior executive level; exercises sensitivity to the audience; tactful and discerning; perceives others' motivations and interests to effectively navigate many personalities and prioritize/balance their competing needs Extensive candidate management and negotiation skills in handling sophisticated and complex executive offers Strong verbal and written executive communication and interpersonal skills to deliver highly persuasive and compelling communications with high potential candidates and engage and advise executive leadership to convey important messages in a clear and compelling manner, set expectations, provide counsel during assessment and evaluation of candidates and act as primary negotiator and closer of selected candidates, conduct thorough reference and background checks on all finalist candidates, Experience Minimum of 10 years of talent acquisition experience with 5
years consulting with and recruiting senior executive leaders, including C-suite or recruiting experience within a retained executive search firm or equivalent work experience Proven experience in establishing and implementing executive recruiting functions and processes with experience selecting, negotiating, and managing a portfolio of agencies as an extension of the team, a plus Experience in the Technology industry, especially in Cloud, SaaS, PaaS, highly desirable Why NetApp? If the Company determines this role will be performed in Colorado, the starting salary for this position is 150,000 . This role could be eligible for comprehensive benefits including:
Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid Time off (PTO), Company bonus, and Employee stock purchase plan . Final compensation will be dependent on various factors such as location, qualifications, certifications, relevant work experience and other factors, consistent with applicable law.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
