Field Configuration Engineer- HealthCast - Remote

Careers that Change LivesThe Field Configuration Engineer for Delivery Assist will be the HealthCast expert for the on-site setup and configuration of medical devices and hardware for HealthCast Services.
The role will lead engagements for HealthCast Services offerings working directly with the project management, the customer and field sales to delivery on HealthCast services engagements.
They will develop and assist in documenting best practice methods for set up and configuration, and act as the liaison with services.
A Day in the LifeWe offer you a position where you travel to customer sites around the country to complete Delivery Assist and other services engagements.
Our customers are typically acute care hospitals and the users are in patient care units.
They will partner with services to provide input on improving implementation processes of services.
oSet up and configuration of multiple types of medical devices to the specification of the customer requirements oComplete entire scope of work per the customer requirements including disposal, device replacement and configuation oWork closely with services project management and field sales to understand full scope of work and work planoWork with clinical team to understand parameter protocols for device configuration oUnderstand the installation process for all Healthcast products and servicesoCreate/maintain installation documentation such that installs can be understood and executed with minimal guidance by othersoUnderstand the site assessment for various technologies related to medical devices and other network methodologiesoAct as back up for remote software deployments and upgrades as necessaryoRequires up to 75% travelMust Have:
Minimum RequirementsBachelors degree required and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experienceNice to HavesoHealthcare IT experience either with a vendor in the marketplace or as a hospital employeeoOral and written communications skills to management and users oAbility to learn new skills and concepts quickly oTechnical aptitude oAbility to complete assignments/tasks on time oAbility to understand and support existing computer applications and business users oProven ability to understand the Hospital technical and social environment, and influence the varied decision makers.
oStrong organizational skills.
Must be able to manage/support all technical aspects of Engineering application suite of products.

The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations).
