(SES) is a 3rd party search firm recruiting for a Fundraising Manager Position in the Denver, Colorado area.
Fundraising ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Fundraising Manager to assist our crucial area of fundraising and donation generation in order to help meet our nonprofit mission of animal rescue.
The organization is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue and welfare organization centered on the rescue, rehabilitation, training, and rehoming of animals in need at multi- functional real estate facilities in various locations.
Our Vision is a world full of animals in loving homes, free of homelessness, abuse, and neglect.
The Fundraising Manager is a key member of the organization.
Fundraising is first of the organization's four main areas of focus, and a primary strategy of the organization is to continuously raise funding and donations.
The Fundraising Manager's role is relationship based and primary focus is the generation of donations.
The organization and this position is based out of Denver, Co but can operate hybrid/ remote for the foreseeable future.
This position could lead to advancement to senior management leading the entire fundraising department and staff for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Prospects, cultivates, solicits, and stewards new donors and giving sources Recruits, manages, communicates with High Net Worth, Large Donors, Foundations, Endowments Manages donations from Private Individuals Recruits, manages, communicates with Corporations, Companies, Corporate Donors, Corporate Liaisons Develops and secures major gifts from high net worth donors ($100k+) Develops pipeline of donors, works to establish continued and expanded giving from donor sources Works with other fundraising areas including targeted giving, sponsorships, planned giving and estate planning, internet fundraising, endowment, and real estate acquisition and development funding Develops fundraising plan in conjunction with executive staff and strategic plan Develops and leads fundraising campaigns and events Represents organization Travels and meets with donors directly Works with other fundraising, finance, and marketing staff, interns, and volunteers Reports to Finance Director/ CEO Communicates with Executive Staff and Board of Directors including quarterly reports Goal of $2M+-5M in fundraising for 2024 Required Qualifications:
Required qualifications (especially first 7) are essential.

years experience in nonprofit organizations 5
years experience in a management and team leading role Track record (with specific examples) of securing 6 and 7 figure donations Experience with major donors, high net worth clients Experience in program management Bachelor's degree Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Independent, self- starter, team player Highly motivated, energetic, positive Organized, diligent, detail oriented Mission focused, goal oriented, aligned with vision and mission of organization Dedication to organization culture of ethics, charity, volunteerism, generosity, and selflessness Integrity, honesty, work ethic
Qualifications:
Experience in Senior Management Experience working with Boards of Directors Experience in fundraising campaign development Experience in coordinating major events, including gala and auction events Experience as public face of organization, spokesperson Advanced degree in Business, Nonprofit Management/ Administration CAWA certification, or fundraising advanced designation Knowledge of nonprofit finance, accounting Knowledge of nonprofit best practices Experience working with volunteers, interns Knowledge of donation software including Raisers Edge, accounting and database software Expert in MS Office, especially Excel Dog, horse, and animal lover Please submit resume and cover letter.
