Duties:
Excellent customer service for clients Answer phone for new and existing clients Input client leads into CRM Follow up on leads Bill clients and collect on outstanding payments Calendar cases and deadlines on attorney's calendar File basic pleadings like entry of appearance, motions to continue, etc.
on behalf of attorney Download and organize discovery Assist in reviewing client discovery Assistance preparing for trial (printing exhibits, putting together trial binders, etc.
) Legal research on Westlaw Pay bills Accompany attorney to court for in-court and in-trial support as needed Empathy and patience for clients going through a stressful time Record payments in CLIO practice Management Software Record Expenses in CLIO Issue and follow up on subpoenas Track down expert witnesses as needed Collect medical records as required Obtain ROI when medical records needed Requirements:
Ideal:
Bachelor's degree and/or or completion of paralegal program at junior college.
Bi-lingual not required, but a plus.
Minimum associate's degree.
Must be able to communicate in english in writing and over the phone Must have excellent attention to detail Must be able to type accurately and fast (80
wpm) Familiarity with the criminal justice system ideal Full-time remote (aside from some in-court support) so long as available during business hours Must have quiet home workspace, free of noise/distraction Highly proficient in Westlaw, Microsoft Word, Colorado Courts E-filing, Clio practice management software a plus Knowledge of Colorado Criminal Law and Procedure Knowledge of lawyer trust accounting requirements Reliable internet and phone connection (cost reimbursed) Reliable transportation Valid Driver's license Job Type:
