Perform all activities associated with a molecular and particle contamination laboratory, including but not limited to sampling of flight hardware within a cleanroom environment, process samples for molecular contamination, perform particle counts under a microscope and with automated equipment, identify materials using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy and interpreting spectra thereof.
Work with chemicals in a safe manner within a laboratory setting.
As opportunity arises, potential to learn other skills necessary to operate in other areas of the lab including vacuum environment testing of materials, lubrication testing, electrostatic discharge testing, mechanical material property evaluation, and many other duties as assigned.
Daily work effort is in support of existing test procedures and assist in development of new test protocols.
Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the CompanyInteract appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Perform other duties as necessary.
On-Site Work Environment:
This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work locationTravel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be requiredWorking Conditions:
Work is performed in an office, clean room, laboratory, manufacturing floor or machine shop environment.
Majority of the workday will be in a physical/chemical laboratory and office environments, with periodic opportunities to work on production floor and cleanroom settings.
Laboratory, production floor, and cleanroom settings will require specific personal protective equipment to be worn.
Will access other facilities in various weather conditions.
Daily commute across company campus assigned transporting by hand less than 20 pounds materials/chemical/equipment or pushing greater than 20 pounds material/chemical/equipmentRequired Education, Experience, & Skillso Technician I - High School diploma or equivalent plus 1 or more years of related experience or a related 2-year technical degree.
Each higher-level related degree, i.

, Bachelor's or Master's, may substitute for two years of related experienceDegree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
Valid driver's license.
Demonstrated ability to perform any and all tasks in companies Technician Requirements.

Excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work with typical chemicals and equipment used in a chemical and physical testing laboratory.
Demonstrated strong mathematic skills such as calculate area and volume of geometric shapes.
Mechanical aptitude with adept fine motor skills.
Good customer service skills.
Demonstrated computer and mechanical, electrical, and/or laboratory skillsPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range:
$45000 - $60000 Please note:
