Investigative/Interview certification through a national or internationally recognized organizationExperience in people management About the job Global Investigations is an internal security and investigations team which is a part of Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS). Our team is a member of the Security Investigations and Assessments (SIA) group, which includes the Insider Risk Team and the CARE team. SIA is part of Strategic Programs, which is composed of teams that provide subject matter expertise on a variety of security and resilience areas to help support and further the mission of GSRS.As a global team with members in multiple countries across the major regions of the globe, we provide support for North America, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC. The primary mission and purpose of Global Investigations is to protect and enable Google s ability to grow by securing Google s people, information, and assets through fair and objective fact-finding and expert advisory services.From keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team. As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$221,000

Responsibilities Supervise a team of investigators. Increase efficiency and drive innovation across the investigations team to deliver impact with respect to protecting, enabling, and sustaining Google business operations.Provide oversight of investigations of possible violations of Google's security policies, Code of Conduct, or other business conditions and provide thorough and professional reports to management summarizing the findings and providing insights.Conduct investigations, audits, and other research to identify process deficiencies which could allow inappropriate business conduct and recommend protocols and policies to address those weaknesses.Develop positive relationships with other internal investigations and legal teams as well as the business units we support, in addition to networks with domestic and international law enforcement and government counterparts, as well as private sector peers worldwide.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
