DISYS is hiring an IT Project Manager for an industry leading global client located in N. Boulder, CO.
Summary:
Supports the Software and Control Unit Departments by providing User Experience, Information Development and Translation Coordination functions for Product Development Projects. The Project Manager acts as a primary liaison to multiple Development Product Project Managers on behalf of team members and will be responsible for creating sub-project schedules for department activities as well as facilitating communication to ensure overall project success. The role requires previous experience working with global teams. Must become familiar with project scope and objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. This role will also be asked to provide Project Management support and expertise for internal Process Improvement projects for the department. Will work closely with the department Manager to compile and maintain Portfolio view for Project and Resource analysis.
Responsibilities o Work with Product PM and Development /CoDC team to understand, project requirements and schedule. o Determine and document relevant project scope and objectives o Work with the project team to develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies. o Maintain risks and issue logs if/as necessary. o Organize team meetings to review progress and issues o Coordinate with team to bring issues to resolution. o Work closely with Translation Coordinator to ensure timely file exchanges to and from development. o Communicate scope changes to the team. o Attend weekly product status meetings and provide updates or issues as necessary. o Alert management in a timely manner of any events which will have a major impact on the project. o Communicate and work with other development project team members to keep tasks on schedule. o Seek opportunities for process improvement and project efficiencies. o Performs other duties as assigned.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
