CyberSource, a Visa Inc. company, needs Software Engineers in Boulder, Colorado to develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. Develop, maintain and enhance a set of framework components using JEE and open source technologies including EJB, JPA, JMS, JAX-WS, and REST. Develop, maintain and enchance a user interface developed with Struts, JSP, JavaScript, or jQuery frameworks. Investigate to determine causes of issues and address challenging issues reported by customers. Demonstrate software for various technical and non-technical stakeholders. Participate in 24x7 on-call level 3 production application support rotation.
Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field. Education or experience must include:
1. Creating functional and unit tests;
2. User interface technologies including JSP, JavaScript, and jQuery;
3. XML parsing and XML schema design experience;
4. Application server JBoss or Tomcat;
5. Commercial-grade relational databases Oracle or MySQL;
6. Object-oriented design, including the use of design patterns;
7. Web Service;
8. Java;
9. Linux; and,
10. VMWare.
Experience may be gained concurrently.
