Analyze high dimensional proteomic data for discovery of proteomic signatures, identification of new biomarkers, and creation of new medical diagnostic technology. Design experiments to obtain proteomic signals; perform complex quantitative statistical analyses of high dimensional proteomic data; identify appropriate statistical design for analysis; develop statistical models and software tools; evaluate assay data; make recommendations on improving assays; identify potential biomarkers; prepare data displays and reports; and present results to other research teams. Stay abreast of new methodologies and technology by attending professional meetings and conducting literature reviews. Utilize multivariate analysis, machine learning, R, SAS, MatLab, correlation analyses, principal component analysis, ANOVA, regression, non-parametric tests, pairwise tests and object oriented programming in completing duties. Background check required.
2 years exp as bioinformatics scientist, statistical analyst or biological quantitative analyst; and functional expertise in designing experiments, multivariate analysis, machine learning, and one of the following: R, SAS, or MatLab. Background check required.
M.S. in Bioinformatics, Biology, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
