Administrative Specialist, ZA-0301-III (equivalent GS-12/13) TERM

The incumbent will manage the full range of communications duties to ensure clear, concise, and effective messaging for the Communications Technology Laboratory while supporting the full implementation of CTL's strategic communications plan for the Laboratory. The incumbent is responsible for developing and disseminating communications materials to all CTL stakeholders, evaluating and analyzing CTL's communication portfolio, and facilitating guest visits. To qualify, applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level (or ZA-II at NIST). Specialized experience is defined as experience managing communication outreach activities and experience with digital communication strategies for best practices of communication among multimedia platforms. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
