IT Specialist (Applications Software), ZP-2210-IV (GS-13/14 Equivalent)- TERM

Leads virtual reality development with a focus on building environments and scenarios for enabling public safety user interface testing and prototyping. Manages team effort through source code and project management tools. Responsible for all aspects of production pipeline for virtual reality environments. Analyze and compile results into formal technical deliverable for stakeholders, sponsors and the general public. Leads the design and development of open innovation prize challenges in support of the UI/UX portfolio. Basic Requirements:
Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate.For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. Experience:
In addition to the basic requirements, applicants must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalents to at least the GS-12 level (ZP-III).Specialized experience is defined as experience with virtual reality, game engines (i.e., Unreal and Unity) and testing of user interfaces. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
