Overall, this place is a steal, especially for the cost of living in Boulder. Exact address will be provided after interview. About me: I am a 29 year old bi woman and I work as a Speech-Language Pathologist (graduated from the CU Boulder MA-SLP program in 2018). Things I enjoy: getting to know people, spending time with others while also having some solitude, animals, music, dance classes, choreographing, hiking, reading, watching t.v., working with kids, etc. My living habits (which we can discuss more extensively if you're interested in living here): I'm moderately clean, but when I get busy or stressed, cleanliness slips up for a couple of days. However, I'm conscientious when I live with other people, and I tend to somewhat mirror the cleanliness habits of my roommates, and will be happy to discuss your biggest priorities and do my best to make sure we are both comfortable in the space. I do my best to at least leave part of the house looking a little better everyday (usually the kitchen is my first priority), and do deep cleans when I can. If you need everything to be really really clean all of the time, we may clash. However, when the house is totally trashed, particularly the kitchen, it makes me feel overwhelmed and cranky. I don't smoke any substance, and am looking to live with a non-smoker (smoking any substance is not allowed in unit anyway). I rarely drink, and don't want to live with a big drinker/partier. No judgment if that's what you like, I just don't think we'd live well together! Ideally things are quiet in the house by around 11pm most nights. IMPORTANT: I have two cats, and it's important to me that a roommate is kind to them and conscientious about helping me ensure a safe living environment for them. They are sweet and ridiculous, but also mischievous and kind of dumb, so predicting their next poor choice is a constant battle. About you: -Graduate student or young professional (preferably between ages 23-35ish) -Must be able to pay bills on time -Willing to communicate openly and respectfully -LGBTQ friendly (I identify as LGBTQ, so this is a must) -No pets (IMPORTANT: but please love cats/have patience for their mischief/be willing to adapt to things like making sure not to let them out, always being mindful of securing any food left out so they can't get it, only having houseplants that are specifically non-toxic to cats, being mindful of not leaving choking hazards lying around like hair-ties, etc. I know this all sounds like a pain, and it is, but they are worth it. Bonus points for you if you are willing to cat sit on the rare occasion when I need to go out of town. I will compensate.) -Drug-free (I don't really care about occasional marijuana use if it's not smoked on the premises) -Conscientious of the people you share your home with (regarding noise levels, and other things that impact living environment) -You want to live with someone you'll actually talk to (it's cool to also do our own things, I just don't want to be total strangers) -You will follow through with your fair share of common responsibilities -You are willing to meet beforehand (preferably in-person if you live near enough to do so) -Must be able to pass background check (required by owner) -Minimum credit score of 700 (per landlord's request) -Willing to provide 2-3 personal references (I'm happy to do the same)
