Kitchen and bathrooms have been partially updated, with good quality, modern appliances including a Bosch dishwasher and GE smoothtop electric stove and shower and faucet controls, and some new kitchen cabinets. Lower level has family room and large laundry room with front-loading washer/dryer and additional sink. The house exceeds Boulder's energy efficiency requirements. Heating is provided via an extremely efficient condensing furnace with central air conditioning, and ceiling fans assist cooling. The water heater is also recent. All windows are either double pane or have storms so heating costs are reduced, and all except the kitchen window have quality honeycomb, insulating shades. Great location in quiet neighborhood.
